OUR STORY
Built around a love of games—and the people who play them.
Ron Palmantary founded Game HQ in 1993. An avid wargamer with a passion for history, he left his career as an attorney to open a store where people could find great games and have a place to play them together. Ron has since retired, but the welcoming space he envisioned remains at the heart of Game HQ.
What began with that vision grew to welcome board gamers, roleplaying groups, miniature hobbyists, trading card players, and plenty of people discovering a new favorite game. The games have changed over the years, but the idea behind Game HQ has stayed the same: good games are even better when you have someone to share them with.
